Patrick began his career playing drums with groups in the Baltimore area such as J. Roddy Walston and The Business, Judd and Maggie, June Star, and Challenge Club. He moved to Portland, OR in 2009 and played, toured, or recorded with Lost Lander (w/ Matt Sheehy of EL VY), Ramona Falls (w/Brent Knopf of Menomena), Mnemonic Sounds, Adam Sweeney, Laura Gibson, and Sean Flinn.

He moved to Los Angeles in 2017 and can be found playing with LA-based band Inspired and The Sleep, and with Linn Koch-Emmery from Sweden. You can also check out his electronic and commercial compositions here.

Patrick has supported and toured with the Helio Sequence, Phantogram, Little Dragon, The War on Drugs, Blind Pilot, and others, and has toured and performed in every major city in the US, as well as Canada, Germany, Russia, France, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, and Turkey. He studied drums formally with Grant Menfee (Berklee, Towson U) and John Thomakos (PIT) in Baltimore, and has continued his studies with Dom Famularo in NYC. He has also taught private drum and percussion lessons since 2006.
