I began my career playing drums with groups in the Baltimore area such as J. Roddy Walston and The Business, Judd and Maggie, and June Star. After moving to Portland, OR, I played, toured, or recorded with Lost Lander (w/Matt Sheehy of EL VY), Ramona Falls (w/Brent Knopf of Menomena).

Over the years, I’ve shared the stage with artists like Phantogram, Bishop Briggs, Little Dragon, and The War on Drugs, and I’ve had the chance to perform all over the U.S. and internationally (in places like Germany, Turkey, Russia, Italy, and more).

As a composer, I’ve created music for clients like Netflix, Facebook, Google, and UCLA, and my percussion-only project, pushstart, can be heard in ads for brands such as Samsung, Under Armour, and Best Buy.

I’ve been fortunate to learn from some incredible teachers, including Dom Famularo and John Thomakos, and I’ve taught drums and percussion lessons for over 15 years.
